Stakeholders

All government departments are lobbies for the pressure groups they deal with.
The Department of Education lobbies the government on behalf of teachers,
the Department of Health lobbies for the doctors and hospital unions,
the Department of Energy lobbies for oil companies and so on.
Each department of State is actually controlled by the people it is supposed to be controlling.

Peter "Dwarf-Tosser" Jackson

They eviscerated the book by making it an action movie for young people aged 15 to 25. And it seems that The Hobbit will be the same kind of film. … The chasm between the beauty and seriousness of the work, and what it has become, has overwhelmed me. The commercialisation has reduced the aesthetic and philosophical impact of the creation to nothing.
